Photorbit is committed to making www.photorbit.in usable by the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice-control software, and keyboard-only navigation.

1. Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility, across the pages of this website — including product browsing, search, cart, checkout, and account management. This is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time certification, and we review and improve accessibility as the website evolves.

2. Accessibility features already in place

• Semantic structure: pages use semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a logical heading hierarchy so screen readers can navigate content predictably.
• Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements — navigation menus, product filters, cart controls, forms, and checkout steps — are operable using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator that is never removed via outline: none without a replacement.
• Text alternatives: meaningful images (product photos, category thumbnails) carry descriptive alt text; purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
• Colour and contrast: our design system targets a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text, and we never rely on colour alone to convey status (for example, out-of-stock or sale badges pair colour with text/icons).
• Labelled forms: every form field (registration, checkout, address, contact) has an associated visible label, and validation errors are announced as text adjacent to the relevant field rather than colour alone.
• Responsive and zoom-friendly: layouts adapt across screen sizes and remain usable at up to 200% browser zoom without loss of content or functionality.
• Reduced motion:animations respect your operating system's "reduce motion" preference where supported by your browser.

3. Known limitations

Some third-party embedded components — most notably the Razorpay payment checkout widget, which runs in an isolated frame we do not control — may not fully match the same accessibility standard as the rest of this website. 4. Compatibility

This website is built and tested to work with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. 5. Ongoing work
